The Texas Instruments BQ25892 Charging IC is an industrial-grade, highly integrated single-cell battery charge management and system power path distribution semiconductor designed for expert motherboard-level smartphone repairs. Housed in a compact 24-pin WQFN package with an exposed center thermal pad, this advanced component combines a high-efficiency 5A switch-mode buck charger with an I2C serial interface. It manages multi-stage automated charging cycles (pre-conditioning, constant current, and constant voltage) alongside dynamic Narrow VDC (NVDC) power path management to power downstream logic board systems even when the device’s battery is completely drained.
